Truths that end the world as you know it

You need a personal apocalypse.

You need a personal apocalypse.

When you hear the word apocalypse, what comes to mind?

Overturned busses, maybe? Worldwide plague, or killer meteors? How about the book of Revelation, the antichrist, and Armageddon?

For most of us, an apocalypse spells the end of the world as we know it. In biblical times, though, the Greek word apokalypsis meant “to reveal, to unveil, uncover.” When John wrote the book of revelation, for example, he began with these words: “The revelation (apocalypse) of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:1). Paul prayed, “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation (apocalypse). The Bible is clear: What we need, more than anything, is a personal apocalypse—and lots of them. We need fresh insights into spiritual truths that will spell “the end of the world as we know it,” enabling us to live empowered by Christ with power and effectiveness.

So that’s what I and this site are all about: communicating truths that will change your life.

It’s the end of the world as we know it.

Amen?
